Minnesota has earned points in eight of its last 13 meetings against Columbus (5-5-3)…The Wild is 5-4-1 in its last 10 games at Nationwide Arena.

Lets Go Wild!

I'm actually a little shocked they're 5-4-1 in Columbus in the last 10. Although that probably stretches back quite a while. Feels like we never win there.

Do better (the Wild, not you Wabit. Good GDT.)

Thanks. :D CBJ is one of those teams that I just can't say much bad about. I don't dislike any of their players, their cannon is cool, and they're like a less successful cousin that's the same age.

Edit: by less successful I mean the Wild are a bartender at Applebees and CBJ works the drive-thru at Hardees.

Coach is a jerk

A coach being a jerk (while coaching) doesn't bother me. I don't know what he's like when he's not working.

I'd much rather have a jerk that's, at the very least, decent; over a "players" coach that's bad at coaching.

Well, Keenan was one of the ultimate jerk coaches. Pat Burns was also hard to like. Those types of guys wear on players, and tend not to last long. Maybe Torts has matured a bit.

No/limited morning skates for the players I would guess makes it easier for them to put up with Torts gristle. Winning helps too. What's the average shelf life for a NHL coach with a team, 5 years?

Blew a lead in a very winnable game, skated hard in a no fun practice, coaches are pissed. If this team doesn't come out hot it's just never going to happen this season.

It was a couple of nice neutral zone plays by the 4th line right before the goal.

Twice now we've had a great chance to shoot from a low pass going high, but the defenseman hasn't been there.
