For years the Canes outplayed opponents after falling behind and were corsi gods.

Canes goal was to win in regulation and they succeeded. Of course we all want them to step on their throats and win by more, but that’s rarely how it works.

The plus side is brindy gets to tear them a new one after a 6-3 win.

I think what some folks are maybe missing here is that we absolutely DID step on their throats. We smashed the **** out of them to the point that they could completely dominate for 30 minutes and not even get that close.

Tampa packed it in with a 2-goal lead and paid for it. We extended it to 3 and 4, and especially that 5th goal which was a “let’s all agree nobody gets hurt tonight” goal.
