I don't think we're watching the same game. We've had a breakaway from Mantha in the 1st, partial breakaway for Oshie and Orlov rang one off the crossbar on the rush.

We're ahead in shots, 21-16 after 2.

NAK and Protas wouldn't do shit, sorry. One has a knack for taking bad penalties, the other can't score to save his life.

Mantha has at least one breakaway per game that he never finishes on. Ringing the crossbar happens at least twice a game for us... difference is we don't have the hustle of NAK/Protas/Strome anymore and you don't see guys like Gusty/Hathaway/NAK scoring. Backstrom/Oshie/Wilson are doing absolutely nothing at all. You can't have that many boat anchors on a team and expect to win.

and about the shot disparity, they're up 3-1.. and every single one of our shots is from the point and getting blocked. They're not winning this game unless ovie or kuzy go on a one man hero show.

Getting outworked and outhustled by a terrible flyers team twice in a row is not a good look. Imagine what the Wild and the Isles are gonna do to this team rofl. Backstom/Oshie will get left in the dust.

Not everything is about effort. We let them score two easy goals on us by turning the puck over at the worst possible time, but we haven't found the seam to make them pay. We need more high tips and deflections, these are bound to go in for sure.

The entire month of december was basically 150% effort by guys who didn't have a guaranteed roster spot. That was enough to get ovie to go on a tear while the 3rd and 4th lines were killing it along with a few of our defensemen. Look at the team now... absolutely horrendous effort.. and zero offense.

High tips and deflections don't work when you have 3 boat anchors who can't even fight for space and fall down at the slightest touch.
