Where does that leave Teevu Teravainen? In the article RB linked to Peters speculated on Teevu being a third line LW.

Again, the “dust” has to settle. Peters said he liked the line of Staal centering Sebastian Aho and Elias Lindholm last season, and liked having Derek Ryan at center with Jeff Skinner and Lee Stempniak.

Williams could be on the right wing with Rask at center and perhaps Teuvo Teravainen on the left side, but there are options.

They also have Lucas Wallmark. Marcus Krueger might be added as a 4 C for them, but to be honest he will end up higher on the depth chart for them.

I am not at all sure he is the player type we are looking for, but I actually think Teevu Teravainen would make a lot of sense for us. Think he can become a Mike Riberio type of producer, without the crap off the ice. He is definitely offensively gifted at an elite level in terms of playmaking and hockey sense. The type of bands where he just seem to get the puck with him in impossible situations. He would help our PP, and make many of our strong 2 way players better offensively. Also has potential to evolve into some thing more then 2nd line depth scoring. The trio of Zucc, Buch and TT would give us high level offensive creativity by committee so to speak. JMHO.

I am also a bit more interested in finding these really good passers when we have an offensive punch on the blueline again, Shatty, McD, Skjei and DeAngelo. Someone like TT is so great at finding those passes that cuts through the defense in the attacking zone finding the Ds on the blueline or jumping into the play.

It’s a rebuild.
Girardi and Staal's contracts have hampered us more, especially when you consider the play they gave us for their cap hits.

Are you trying to imply that Lundqvist has carried a weak team to cap cost ratio for over a decade, and had the team spent better, the Rangers would have won a cup by now?

If the Rangers didn't re-sign Lundqvist, they could have used that money to buy a time machine and make a the best draft pick every year because they wouldn't want to be like the many other teams who also tank and then are still a stinking pile of ass year after year.

Such a head scratcher by MTL to not resign Radulov lol. They ge thin for free. He goes there, is perfect in every sense. Carries them into the POs. Has a great POs, clearly being THE leader of that team. He is only 30 and shows no sign of breaking down. Has very few miles on him. And they won't even go 5x6 on him, completely unbelievable lol.

BTW, it's of course a complete no-brainer for them to write Price a blank check.

Not signing Radulov seems to split the Habs fan base apart. The Radulov-thread on their board is quite entertaining!

Exactly he knew what he was doing. he isn't a dummy. Yes would have made montreal much better in short term to overpay Radulov but 3-4 years from now IDK. I read somewhere Montreal would have had to offer somewhere around 8 million to get what he will get in texas (no taxes and lower cost of living).
And i feel from watching a lot of Habs games last year that he drove most of their offense.

If the Rangers can't find anyone better than Hayes to be their 2c, then they might as well also go with Miller as their 3c and just see what happens.. it's not ideal, but you also don't want to just try to fit a square peg into a hole.

I think there is a better chance that Nieves and Andersson are our 3 and 4 C's rather than Miller
