Arizona is short their 1st round pick next season, has 3 goalies signed, and is cash poor. There's an opportunity for a deal to be made for Kuemper or Raanta.

They have no 1st next year. Our 1st + Russell a deal that would make sense for both teams. They save some real dollars and get a 1st. We save cap and get a goalie.

Cap Friendly says we have 5.2M left in cap space but they have 15 forwards, drop PRussell takes us to 5.9. I still think a trade needs to occur IF they land Barrie. How much space is Bear going to take up? Backup goalie looking like 1-1.5M with what’s left. KH says he’s keeping some money back for call ups and whatnot. The money don’t add up or more likely, I’m missing something...lol

I would expect that ARI would really covet that first round pick. Kuemper and second rounder for Edmonton first rounder and Chiasson or Kassian.

Holland possibly has a trade in place if we sign a certain player. There also probably figuring on having some space when they place klef on ltir
