Maybe if he were bought out, but not on this deal. He's under contract for 4 more years.I would not take Gibson for FREE, with theoretical 100% retention.
That's too long of a commitment, even with 100% retention.

Ya if he's bought out and any team needs a goalie he's fine on a 1 year for 1-2 million. In our case tho I'd rather rely on DawsMaybe if he were bought out, but not on this deal. He's under contract for 4 more years.

The signing we've all been waiting for.
And the last line of defense is Jarry! Hahaha gonna be fun embarrassing the Pens! Will Butcher, Ty Smith, Ryan Graves. Pittsburgh building a squad.
Carolina is going to add Orlov, Bunting, Tarasenko, Teravainen and Svechnikov from what we saw in the playoffs. Insane.
So are the Canes moving out Teravanien? Don’t they need to make room for DeAngelo too?
Even with all those guys, I’d bet on them shooting under the ridiculous 15+ percent they managed against us.Carolina is going to add Orlov, Bunting, Tarasenko, Teravainen and Svechnikov from what we saw in the playoffs. Insane.
Everyone (including us) says our goaltending is weak. Carolina's goaltending is just as much of a question mark yet, nobody notices.
I think the Tony d deal died when that bigger Philly/ blues deal died
Waddell said he is still executing the trade. I guess Pesce/Skjei and Teravanien will be on the way outI think the Tony d deal died when that bigger Philly/ blues deal died
I wouldn't put it quite as questionable as VV/Schmid in terms of performance, but it can go south with regards to health which makes it questionable for sure
Apparently it didn't. Maybe pesce on the way out?
