So if Yandle gets traded do we all hate Gorton now?
Stalberg is a +2.46 in CF% rel since 2012.
He had awful last year (13-14) though.
I honestly don't have enough first-hand knowledge about Stalberg to evaluate, but I'll say this:
If bringing in a guy who multiple times in his career has been right around 0.5ppg at $1.1MM means Tanner friggin' Glass at $1.45MM is being shipped out, sign me up.
Yandle and Miller for Jvr would be horrendous.
This is why we dumped Hagelin. It was solid asset management to dump Hagelin. You guys just watch, it'll be a blessing in disguise that we didn't pay $3.5 million AAV to keep Hagelin.
We're basically on Chicago's level minus the cups.... so I think he'll thrive here
“@HartnettHockey: #NYR signs 6-foot-3, 210- pound forward Viktor Stalberg to a one-year, $1.1 million deal. Solid depth addition.â€
29 years old too, great size/speed.

But Chicago. Stalberg played on some xbox teams. That's my only hang-up here.

Bigger faster. Stronger.... Gorton....
Like it!!!
You're right who can the Rangers add to make that more equitable? Fast? Skjei or do you think it would have to be someone like Brassard?
Yes but not moving yandle especially if for bozak
Yeah but he has demonstrated that he's more than capable of being a good player when playing on a good team. Despite what I'm reading here today, we're still a very good team and he's a very good fit for the system we employ.
