They're essentially the same age, and apart from last year where McClement was playing for Carlyle, and Winchester was super motivated to have a career year and stay in the NHL, it's not even close. Take out last year, and Jay's lowest point total is only one point away from Winchester's career year last season.
Winchester will be fine for us on the 4th line, because it's just the 4th line, but he's not better than McClement.
