Here
Main thing I liked about him last night was his willingness to go to the slot, our team is sooo perimeter. If he was on the ice in that final minute he probably bangs in that rebound in the dying seconds that we didn't capitalize on because we didn't have anyone in the slot and the puck just went back to the blueline
He almost got one like that on his very first shift. Hopped right over his stick.

If he can draw defenders to the middle of the ice and to the net, it only opens up more space for Bread which may allow him more looks to actually shoot the damn thing

Hope we get to see more of that shot of his then again been saying that about Chytil and Lafreniere as well. Hopefully he finds ways to get open.

Wtf was Frank the Tank anyway? Glad we're now giving him nicknames like Frankie V, etc., worthy of his Italian heritage.

Drury made a low key good trade with this guy. He will be just fine down the stretch

Vatrano isn’t going to score at this pace the rest of the way. BUT, getting the threat of his shot that can be a difference maker for a mere 4th round pick was a fantastic move by Drury. Last night it was a difference maker and helped us get a big W.

He may not score at this clip forever, but he does one thing the top 6 is allergic to...he shoots the puck!!

And seriously over the years we haven't had a guy who's beating goalies with wristers from far out since like Gaborik? Then he does it twice within seconds the other night. I think he'll sustain decent production into the playoffs.
