I love the way this evokes memories of the Thrashers. That's probably not what the Jets want to do as an organization (if anything, they seem to want to bury and forget their Atlanta history) but this would be a wonderful way to pay subtle tribute to those roots without getting away from a Jets-based look. It also, again, is a color that looks OK in the color-rush concept.
The odd thing about this one is you take a radical new look in terms of colours, but combine it with the throwback logo. It looks very wrong to my eyes.
I've thought the Jets should try using a baby blue as a dominant colour (in memory of the old 1948 RCAF gold medal winning team, which is where we 'borrowed our current logo from'), but that would be an even lighter blue than this one, which as you say is very much the Thrashers colour.
My kid is playing Timbits hockey, and each team is given jerseys that more-or-less match the colours of NHL teams (though no logos). I assumed my kid's two-tone blue with burgundy accents was an Avalanche jersey, but the fact that the sleeves were different colours troubled me. A few weeks into the season it hit me - those weren't Avalanche jerseys - they were (in 2016) Thrashers colours!
Honestly, the look itself wasn't bad, and it's not as if the Jets want to totally forget their Thrasher roots. Just look at goalie Connor Hellebuycke, who has a picture of Dan Snyder on his helmet (he's the first Jets/Thrashers player to wear #37 since Snyder).
If the Jets ever wanted to do a one-off Thrashers throwback night, with a Thrashers uni but Jets logo on the front (and Thrashers secondary logo) I think that would be really cool. And naturally - it would have to be against the Calgary Flames.

Ugh. Most of those are either absolutely disgusting, or extremely similar to what teams already have.
I do actually kinda like the Devils one though, as an alternate option.
And the Minnesota inspired Dallas jerseys would be absolutely hilarious to see them wear for a "special" game against the Wild.

They're not as bad as I was expecting, but a few of those are just awful. Looking at you, Pens. Love yellow/gold, but man... that'd burn my eyes.

Didnt know what color rush is. So the entire point is to have a h2h match up with both teams using their colors, not to use white jerseys?
So people had been hoping the NFL would do just that- have two teams wearing their primary or alternate jerseys, no whites, and the NFL said they'd experiment with it on Thursday Night Football games.
But then rather than just have the teams use their actual jerseys for these games, they suddenly introduced this "Color Rush" thing that nobody really asked for. And it doesn't seem like it's going away any time soon.

I ****ing love it, if only because my favorite team has gotten away from color, and because most teams have headed towards a simpler, streamlined/professional look that is classy but boring imo. I'm sure we'd get sick of these bombastic colors after a while, but it would be nice to breathe some life in, especially with 'untraditional' colors, like how many teams are just red or blue or black right now? Bring back purple, green, those canucks orange/yellow that only I'm fond of, etc...

Meh....it's basically all black with a twist on the Black 3rd sweater. I was never a fan of the black 3rd (although I own one
) nor was I a fan of that whole "everybody make black alternate jersey color" fad form the late '90's early 00's.

It's the NFL's new style of alternate uniform.
You take your team's primary color, dial up the brightness to 11, and make it the only color in the uniform.

Most of these are so close to what the teams already use as their jerseys. Don't really see the point for some of them.
That being said, I do like Anaheim, Colorado, NYR, STL, SJ and Washington.
The rest IMO are either basically the same as their current jerseys or just downright awful. I used to love the Sabres black/red jerseys but these made me throw up in my mouth a little.
