Sam Gagner has played 30 effective NHL games since 2015 and just got an NHL contract through 20-21. Crazy what pedigree does for you.

i think that was a sarcastic jab at the ppl who've been saying it's not benning's fault we have no cheap vets and had to pay hand over fist for roussel and beagle because washed up benchwarming high five specialists like luke schenn and to a lesser degree maroon and bogo only sign cheapos with contenders like tampa?

Nothing wrong with Gagner at essentially league minimum to sit in the pressbox for half a season and play a handful of minutes when he's in the lineup. Still living off that 8 point night but I'd take that deal over many others....

Would Kesler go and see a family doctor given that he has access to the team physician? It's also pretty easy to google up the meds you are taking if you suspect the meds are causing stomach discomfort which is a pretty common occurrence.
His wife and kids would have a doctor so would make sense for him to see that doctor as well. I watched something on SN this past year where Nate Burleson former WR said that after he retired he saw an independent doctor and the doctor asked him when he suffer certain injuries that the scans and tests revealed and burleson was like no, I only sprained or something that body part which was supposed to be minor but the doctor told him no, it was worse than that. So he went and got a couple of surgeries to fix everything.

that’s a story that needs to be shared to all nfl players and even hockey players as well.

I'm not so sure. During the season, I can't imaging too many NHL players accompanying his wife and kids to see a doctor. Offseason maybe.

That has to do with ethics and competency I think. Unfortunately, not all doctors are ethical and not all doctors are competent.
