Do you really think this, honestly?
Who knows?

But it would be a good strategy, b/c losing in OT to good teams gives a young team a sense of accomplishment, whereas getting blown out in regulation on a regular basis is corrosive and bad for player development.

Of course, if it was a deliberate strategy, Torts would never admit it.

No, he's just a moron who values defense to the detriment of offense. He has openly admitted that he has no understanding of the game as it exists now, and he's simply proving it. It's that simple. There isn't secret genius going on. Occam's Razor again.

Hell
I like how the answer to a “Do you really think so?” (pretty clear question) question is “Who knows”

Got to love the legal style speak....

Since the question wasn't "Do you personally think so?" got to leave the room to be able to wiggle out when proven wrong yet again.
