The proposal is for Dougie Hamilton, not Erik Karlsson. I could see taking out 51 possibly but that's it.

Over the last few years when he became a top pair defenseman. If Hamilton is dealt, it's not because the Flames are shopping him, it's because we were offered something that we couldn't say no to.

I thought the Flames felt they have some good defensive prospects in the pipeline coming up?? And even without Hamilton they still have Gio and Harmonic and Brodie....that isn't to shabby for them.....

Aside from a 1C, a player like Hamilton is precisely the player we don’t really need to trade for. We have our top D pairing sorted for a decade to come.
