If he comes back and struggles, it'll be because he's still injured not because he didn't have time to play meaningless RS games. Ovi doesn't take long to heat up at all.

My fear is that he'll come back for game 1 when he isn't yet ready and either won't be effective or will worsen the injury. Keep him out until either (i) he's healthy, or (ii) we lose two in a row in the playoffs.

Hard to say. I imagine that so long as Vanecek plays well enough to give them a chance to win, he is gonna play.
