Great night last night,

Florida loses in regulation against the King's. Plus have a back to back leading into Saturday against the Bruins.

Islanders bump Florida down in the standings and jump ahead of them.

Sharks got a point.

Canucks won, mind you against Columbus but after the last two days it'd be a miracle if we could catch them. So the outcome was great with a Canucks win.

Senators win as well which they move 3 points ahead of us with a game in hand which is key as well.

This thread was a jinx. Watch Florida magically make the playoffs and then win the Cup.

It will be between 13-17. I dont see them winning a round. Beating Boston is a stunner and the way it happened might be a spark. No difference between picking 13 or 17th. Doesnt matter if they make playoffs or not

No yellow brick road to the playoffs for them, still have to overcome Buffalo, Washington and Pittsburg while looking over their shoulder. Need a heart, a brain (Paul Maurice?) and courage.

Buffalo got a point and Islanders win.

Even with Florida's win, they stand pat in the standings. Just because they win doesn't mean they move they have a lot above them to overcome and behind them trying to catch. Florida also has higher amount of games played than most.

Plus sharks won tonight helps get closer to 5th pick. Anaheim and Arizona tied in the 3rd is good too.

Unfortunately Hawks and jackets losing and have lossed.

Right now Florida pick is 17th. But could jump to 19th as they only a point back of Isles and Pitt. I can't see it getting much higher than 20. As they have first round date with Boston.

Their position is with 60 games played. Some of the teams below them are 2-4pts behind but also have like 3-6 games in hand.

Like I look at Buffalo 4pts behind, but have 6 games in hand.

The Panthers are one of the teams with the most game played.

It's going down to the wire but it looks good for the Panthers unless some teams can go on a run. Isles Pens and Caps look disinterested in doing so.

Id argue the friday game against Buffalo is a really big one for them. Between now and then detroit plays 2x, Buffalo 2x, nashville 2x, washington 2x islander and calgary 2x. All of those teams could close the gap or pass Florida and stil have games in hand. If that happens and they lose the Buffalo game they’ve given up there window and will be facing an uphill battle against buffalo

Unfortunately for Buffalo, they hit Florida on the second game of a back to back. Really unfortunate scheduling for the Sabres there.

Tough week for Buffalo, hope they've got some magic in the tank and their goaltending shows up.

Panthres are playing without their top 2 centers, Bennett out indefinitely with a lower body njury and Barkov likely broke his hand about 2 weeks ago trying to block a shot. If they lose the next one against Pittburg, playoffs are basically out of reach at that point and the team can only go downhill from there. There is also a possibility they move some guys like Gudass before the TDL.

Big loss for Florida tonight. Really hurt their playoff chances. With 19 games left they are 5 points out of final playoff position. With Ottawa and Sabres between them and Islanders.
