Well I hold you solely responsible for that Bennett goal
He came back immediatelyAny word on Johnny? I'm scared af.
Dude's gonna break the record for largest ratio of PP to ES points.Wait was that #1 center sean Monahan?
Almost like he plays with talent on 1 of thoseDude's gonna break the record for largest ratio of PP to ES points.
Wait was that PP specialist sean Monahan?
The Flames' backcheck taking away time and space this game has been a pleasant reminder of what November was like.
True. Maybe they should move lucic to PP1 to get some talent out there too?Almost like he plays with talent on 1 of those
That's what moved me to make the post, but there have been a bunch like it in this game. The Flames have really cleaned up a lot of the details that have been eluding them lately. Hopefully they don't make me look bad by collapsing in the third. The effort by Hanifin just before Gaudreau's break away won't be remembered but he got his stick in at the last second to break up the 2 on 1, that was a great play

Yeah but he takes a bad penalty every 10 games. You're better off without him.22 goals in 40 games f*** me
Didn't even get 70 in over 400 games here,22 goals in 40 games f*** me
To be fair he took bad penalties more often then that but he played with trash 4th liners and was clearly trying to do somethingYeah but he takes a bad penalty every 10 games. You're better off without him.
I think the softy by Markstrom was the root cause last game. When the team is playing well they can shake that off pretty easily, but on a four-game skid having that go in right off the hop after having a pretty good start really sucks the life out of a team.If I know the Flames they most likely will but I agree the effort and attention to detail tonight has been noticeably better. I do wonder how much covid and limited activity combined with cross country travel screwed with them, although that doesn't explain the lack of effort vs Ottawa
