Don't care, because the Ducks should make short work of them both. But I will lean towards the Canucks because they do not look too good right now and Flames do not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. I would easily choose Canucks though if Giordano wasn't injured.

Vancouver simply for the fact two of my teammates are Vancouver fans and said they would get suites for every home game

Ducks shouldn't care. If they can't beat Vancouver or Calgary we don't deserve to lift the cup.

I agree. In a one through eight seeding format Calgary would have been the eighth and Vancouver fifth. You can't be terrible and make the playoffs (unless you won the southleast), but the Ducks are on another level. Underestimating them is a terrible idea of course, but the Ducks should win against either.

Avoid Hiller and the speedy skill team that has all kinds of intangibles. Not that the Flames worry me too much, but the Nucks seem just our speed.

Well in defense of the Canucks if we face them they will be a hot team winning 3 in a row when facing elimination.

I think we'll find out tomorrow. Don't see a young Flames team coming back in Van if they lose tomorrow (which I don't think they'll do)

Regardless we get two interesting storylines: Kesler vs his former team or Hiller vs his old team.
I'd like to face the Vancouver Canuck but at the end of the day bring on all comers.

for once i just want to be on the other side of hillers unclutch goaltending and timely soft goals...

otoh kesler responds well to being boo'ed so maybe vancouver is the better option

Vancouver, neither team really scares me, but I think we match up more favorably vs the Canucks.

That said, I would not mind going to a game or two if they do get Calgary. Though Ferland is an idiot and hope he won't goof off too bad.

I like the Flames way more than the Canucks who I have zero respect for but Vancouver is a much more preferable opponent. They're softer, have worse goaltending and don't have a lot of depth in any area.

Couldn't care less, they are both teams we should be beating in a 7 game series.

Neither team is particularly worrisome, though I wouldn't be shocked if Calgary managed to give the Ducks fits, but Canucks v Kesler is too juicy to not be hoping for it.
