Just brutal for the last 25 minutes.

The good think is we are young, and that this should be a learning experience. At least if any of the players were feeling as frantic as I was feeling it will be.

Not a ROW, so it still stings on the stat sheet.

Must win against Boston (already was), especially with everything going the wrong way this weekend in terms of other wild card teams.

I thought we started the 3rd pretty good... but then Calgary got its 1st goal and it's like the top 2 lines decided to stop skating because skating is hard work.

Sucks to not get the ROW win. 2 points is 2 points. I want to see the guys learn from this going forward. We're not a team that can take their foot off the gas and still win. Our defence has been looking better because we are playing more in the offensive zone, if we start playing in our zone the defence get exposed again.

Not gaining any ground.

Next game is must win.

Nope, we aren't gaining ground. We are holding onto control though (since we have those two games against Boston), and more importantly we aren't losing ground. We are going to have to be winning whether Boston is losing now, later, or never.

All we seemed to do was dump the puck in and never went to get it. First 2 periods were awesome, one line who didn't quit was Condra-Pageau-Lazar who were all very good. They have been ever since being put together IMO.

Stone was very good in the first 2 periods, many takeaways and a lot of great passes. Great game for Michalek too, on the other hand wasn't a fan of Karlsson today, came up big in the SO but in the game thought he missed the extra gear and made some bad decisions, didn't like a lot of our dmens tonight to be honest.

I don't get how the team didn't support Andy better than that, if a guy coming off 6 weeks of injury doesn't motivate you to help him what will?

I can see Puempel getting benched or sent down and either Prince or Robinson gets a call-up for the Bruins game.

Losing to Boston in any of those games is going to be a huge obstacle to overcome.

Isn't the old adage that you know a winning steak is coming to an end when you win games you shouldn't? Exhibit A right here.

Idk, it's not like we didn't outplay the flames by a wide margin for most of that game. We got on our heels and did some bad things out there but by in large we were the better team that game imo. The flames showing up for 10-15 mins doesn't mean they deserved a win.

Because this team is so used to Anderson bailing them out, there was no urgency for them to turn their game around.

With Hammond, they had the pressure of not being the reason the magical run ended.

The support for both goalies were night and day.

What? We dominated play for 40 minutes. In that span we scored 4 goals, hit a number of posts and got robbed by Hiller on numerous occasions.

CGY played well for 20 minutes, got a couple goals off fortunate bounces and lucked their way into a point.

We were the better team in that game no doubt.
