"What kind of question is that"
Hopefully this is the last time we're seeing Nesterov in a Flames jersey
Seems like he was asking a question about being emotionally engaged. What was the question??
No, still have a shot at beating Ottawa for the higher lottery chanceWe're mathematically eliminated now right?
Most points the Flames can earn is 59, with 27 ROW. If the Flames win out, they can still catch Montreal, who must lose 4 of their remaining games in regulation. Can't catch Winnipeg now. We're mathematically eliminated now right?
The rules for expansion eiligibility are that there need to be 2 forwards and 1 defensemen who have played 27 NHL games the past season, or a combined 54 NHL games the past 2 seasons while also having a contract for next season. This is why the Flames essentially need to re-sign one of Leivo, Nordstrom, Ritchie, or Ryan for expansion eiligibility purposes as the only projected exposed forward who meets the requirements is Lucic, and for the Flames, they already have Giordano, Tanev, Hanifin, and Andersson who fulfill the requirements on defense and one of them is bound to be exposed. Nesterov doesn't factor in a whole lot for expansion eligbility either way due to that.Nesterov has to play all the remaining games to be eligible for the expansion draft?
