He was waiting for a forward to come support him and no one came. That pass was not the one he wanted to make because that player was stationary and against the boards.

Ugh. This game is by a large margin our worst since the All-star Break (BoA p. 4 wasn't a game). There have been remarkably few scoring chances for the Flames. And one of them was a Gaudreau breakaway which doesn't really count. And another was Gaudreau with what was effectively a 2-on-1, which also doesn't count.
