I know Brassard has had a bad year this year, but you really only could get a 3rd for him? I guess teams have really soured on him.

This is the most obvious deal ever. He's a ****ing former Columbus Blue Jacket. Our assistant GM is a former CBJ staff. Our coach comes from the CBJ organization. We've had a ton of players under Sakic's watch from CBJ. Of course they target another former Jacket.

Former Jacket & former Sen, plus he's fallen off hard over the past two seasons. It's like the hockey gods created him to tempt Joe.
