As a Sens fan looking in, no doubt Tippet is a good coach but he doesn’t have that intensity and meanesss he once had - he was a legit scary dude when he was a younger coach and had more fire.
Not saying Tippet is done as a coach but looking at the Oilers when they need some enthusiasm and jump it doesn’t seem to come and that to me is coaching. Looks like Tippet just doesn’t have the same fire the young coaches like Rod Brind Amour who is essentially the same person just 15 years younger have
