Always had a soft spot for Zednik, his game was -very- simple but damn he was fearless and had godly balance.

Was probably one of the unluckiest player ever too...

I can see Markov, Kovalev and older players splitting a lot of fans. It's sad that a guy with 1000 games is behind a guy with 400, but still.

Patrice Brisebois has 1000 games....

Why din't you voted for him?

Because size doesn't matter it's all about what you do with it.

I personally started paying more attention in 2007.

I saw Subban get drafted, I saw him teased by Laraque as a prospect, I saw him contribute to two eastern conference finals.

I voted Markov but Kovalev is very close for me personally.

I have a hard time picking between between Saku, PK and Andrei. And Kovy comes pretty close to the 3 but just a notch under. Personally, his lazy games threw me off a bit, while the former trio always gave everything they had.

**** I miss those years. No cups, but at least there was entertainment. Excitment.

Your poll threads make me sad.

**** you

Markov was the backbone to this team for so many years, without him logging 22+ minutes a game this team looked like a disaster (especially last year and in 2011-2012). For him to come back after missing almost 2 years and give us 5 more years of top pairing defence in his mid-late 30s was extraordinary.
