I always preferred Wrestlemania 2000 to No Mercy, mostly due to nostalgia.

Really loved WWE 13 as well. Liked how they had the AE mode, and a huge ass roster. Made a ton of custom characters, too, using formulas found on the internet. Put a ton of hours into that game.

I spent the most time with No Mercy, but the first one to blow my mind with uts game play was its predecessor, WCW World Tour. Especially with the knock off Japanese guys.

I grew up playing Rock'n Wrestle on Commodore 64 and the Wrestlemania arcade game so they hold the most nostalgia for me. As a teenager I loved both WCW/NWO and No Mercy on N64. Haven't played a wrestling game since high school tho.

For me it was Tecmo World Wrestling on NES, and WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role on PS1. And I could never afford to play it much and was terrible at it but WWF WrestleFest back in the old arcade.

WWE 2K22 is really fun. Dont use many of the WWE guys. Just download lots of old ECW Indie and Japanese dudes theres a glitch in one the story modes which is annoying. Overall funnest wrestling game I played in awhile.

I think if I had to choose, it would be between WCW v nWo: World Tour and Here Comes the Pain. I know No Mercy gets all the love being that it perfected what was built upon by the AKI games, but I just remember experiencing that leap from SNES wrestling games to WCW v. nWo - nothing could even compare at the time.

Here Comes The Pain is just the perfect mix of wrestling sim and over the top arcade nonsense. I love it.

Wwf No Mercy, especially with the ”Indies” mod. Spent hours on that.

Here Comes the Pain would be my second favorite, and probably favorite if the modded No Mercy wouldn’t count.

Even gave Nash his 1-week Heavyweight title reign as it happened. Good times!

I remember getting Warzone in Christmas 97 or 98 for the Playstation. It's hilarious looking back on how bad that game was.

Yeah, but it set the tone for future releases with a lot of new features like entrances, create a wrestler, commentary, etc...

StarMan's move at 1:16 is devastating. I always just did that over and over until I won the match.

Anyone play EWR? Played in 20 years ago and every once and awhile come back to it. Up intil yesterday was playing like the 2007ish version.

Got a 2022 update yesterday. Started running NJPW but stopped after a few months now playing AEW.

One thing I hate about the game to this day are the unrealistic contracts.

Currently have Briscoes feuding with Young Bucks, Windham(Bray Wyatt) feuding with Kenny Omega and some other good feuds

Some new fed started and signed Moxley, FTR and Orange Cassidy away from me

I really liked the early 2000s Wrestlemania games.

They were just a blast when you had your friends over and made it into a triple threat, tag team, of fatal four way. Add a ladder and the match goes on forever in a fun way.

My go to was regal with the brass knuckles. I used to drive everyone insane with that move lol.
