Yeah if you have connections it’s a no-brainer. Once you pass the course and exam you’re licensed for as long as you want to be
Yeah I think I'm just going to do it, maybe work as a server and take the course at UBC in the fall. Journalism is a hard industry to get into, I have connections in there for sure in sports, but you're going to have to pay your dues I acquired so many skills while getting my degree it's insane, but I don't know if it's really what I want to do for the rest of my life.
I feel like we put so much pressure on ourselves, I'm 23 years old I don't have to have everything figured out right now. Thank god I come from a family that is doing well financially so there's not much pressure and my parents are would be happy with me to going back to school.
If COVID wasn't a thing I think I could have gotten a job in Journalism out of the gate, but I'm kinda glad I have so much down time right now to reflect on everything.
