Yeah, but Crosby's played at an elite 1C level with poor wingers his entire career, no need to stack up his line. Not to mention DeBrincat is an excellent winger.

In my honest opinion St. Louis went from a top 5 team at the start to a middle of the pack team. The defense is just ugly. Koivu is washed up. Some of the wingers were taken a bit early for my liking. But it doesn't really matter you'll make playoffs.

He was an absolute wall for the first half of last season. I think he fairly quickly realized that his team was going to suck whether he played his heart out or just played decently.

You have a good team but Gardiner on a first pairing is scary and not in a good way. I think you also might be hard pressed to find a good LW to play with Crosby on that top line. You might need to move Rakell up by default while hoping to find a good 2nd LW’er instead. All the best!
