Yeah I just realized. I changed it.
Wow, what's the point in asking for our advice if you're gonna botch the pick with Donskoi. /s
zone starts aren't very important at all, and GF% is an even worse predictor than CF%
Expected Goals are a better predictor of future scoring than Corsi, Goals
How much do zone starts matter part II: A lot on their own, not that much in aggregate
Jacob Larsson's a.... interesting pick..
Honestly I just felt that I was already drafting good enough and to show empathy during these trying times, I should leave Lucic for someone who needs it.
I was hesitant to have him on my bottom pair last draft tbh
I'm not in the house today and my list isn't on me so - when it gets to my pick, expect something bad.
It won't be Lucic, but get hyped on something dumb.
He's on the second pairing of a pretty amazing defensive group:
Murray - Larsson
Larsson - Savard
No offense @BumDum, your offense is really good.
I would respect it a lot more if he ran a Larsson-Larsson pair.
I'm going to assume they meant Johan Larsson.
I don't think I've picked once during the day
Must be nice
Yeah I always get those 1 am or later picks lol.
Thank you! It's crazy how people obsess over a guy getting 58% o-zone starts vs 42% d-zone starts when so many shifts start on-the-fly or in the neutral zones. The impact isn't as massive as some people think it is unless the zone start usage is really extreme. Who you play against and especially who you play with is what matters the most.
Actually, I think he meant Andy Greene.
It's killing me lol
Will probably just give a list this time around
I thought he meant Milan Lucic
That has to be a record.
Fabbro played in college last season. He played ten games in Nashville at the end of the season, where he made very little impact.
My whole point is that he's not exactly a player that many would value highly at that point in the draft. Kind of a footnote on a D unit that has players who make his job easier.
lol, what a power move
Yeah, 3 times.
Make people pay for their mistakes!
I'm tempted to break it, but the 2 guys who pick after me are usually pretty quick lol
Don't want to risk getting stuck with Lucic
Demers is one of the very last dmen I would have in a top4
Agreed. Greene isn't all that great either lol, but he should be forced to change it back to Larsson.
That Larsson for Hall trade was so bad that Larsson + Larsson for Hall would still be considered larceny
Separate names with a comma.
