I actually meant to make the cap 81.5.. not sure why I put 83 in OP. And the 20 man roster instead of 23 is a big thing as well. This is why I have the max at 80 for the next game.

Doesn't seem like it'll really matter in the end. There are some teams who won't come close to 80M if they tried.

When you go cheap in the first 7 rounds thinking you’re a cap management god, but end up not even hitting the cap floor

That has to be the priciest goaltending tandem in history.

It actually might be. 13.3 million bucks.

Niemi + Lehtonen was 10.4 when they were in Dallas.

Chicago spent 12.375M on Cristobal Huet + Nikolai Khabibulin back in 2008 I believe.

I can't think of a tandem that could beat Bobrovsky/Greiss in terms of money.

Price and Kinkaid this year was close at 11.25M. The Habs are going to spend over 2M for a backup next year mark my words so we’ll see something even closer.

Damn was hoping to get Bemstrom with my next pick. Need some more young / skilled players

We have a lot of good defensive forwards...if anyone has any Swedish offensive minded forwards available PM me.

The people who took goalies early are all hurting for top line forwards...but they do have the best goalies.

He’s better at stopping hockey pucks than Carey Price tho

Perhaps, but if we’re only looking at GAA and save percentage in a relatively short sample size, then guys like Darcy kuemper, Elvis Merzlikins, your guy, and Khudobin would be the unanimous best goalies in the NHL, ahead of guys like Vasilevsky, Markstrom, etc. Perhaps it’s just my opinion, but I think a bigger sample size is required, and more factors need to be considered (ie experience as a number one goalie, actual save percentage from higher danger chances, etc.)
