He probably wants out and is tired of playing in the shadow of Malkin and Crosby

If he does, it will make it easier for us to beat them as they'd have no shutdown center

The hell..

Do pens fans not realize that they can't get the world for Staal?

Someone just posted Staal for Yandle in a 1 for 1 deal..

Or my favorite :

To Pittsburgh:
Bobby Ryan
Brandon Sutter
Justin Faulk
UFA Rights to Bryan Allen

To Carolina:
Jordan Staal
Paul Martin
Anaheim's 2012 3rd Round Pick

To Anaheim:
Carolina's 2012 1st Round Pick (8th Overall)
Pittsburgh's 2013 1st Round Pick
Beau Bennett
Tyler Kennedy

Are the writers credible though? But again my bad if the discrediting is actually valid..

Don't know.

There was more in the Parise thread (Trade Forum) last night, but it seems the moderators had to do a bit of housecleaning.

The Devils fans seem pretty certain that Parise and his agent have a meeting with Lou L. on Monday, and that there is absolutely zero chance he gets dealt before then (which seems a plausible position--one last, take-it-or-leave-it before July 1 offer, etc.).

Shane O'Brien re-signs in COL for 3 years.

This has me really excited, not as a fellow S. O'Brien, but so that I don't have to see any offseason proposals to acquire a terrible defenseman.
