LAK still have their logjam at RD...Durzi is an unsigned RFA. Roy and Walker are under contract for 2 more seasons. There's Doughty obviously. And Grans and Spence waiting in the wings. Along with Clarke.

I love Jordan Spence. He'll be a solid player for a smart team that isn't scared of 5'10.

I think Spence would be a great target.

We’re too tight on the cap to take him, it’s really not worth it for how little he brings. Would rather have the cap space and free up ice time for other players.

He listed / heard NYI, NJ & Carolina all still in the mix.

NJ - package around Severson, 1st & prospect
NYI - Baily, Mayfield & Bolduc (it was a prospect)
Car - Necas, Pesce / Bear, Pick

Out of them all Carolinas package seemed decent but I would rather some prospect(s) out of their system than pesce or bear

Adding pesce fits right in line with the age group and window of time plus you get a known commodity and not a maybe years from now

NYI return is essentially a double cap dump with really meh players.

Would only try and get an unprotected 1st round pick from NJ with Severson.

Carolina is not trading Pesce. It would be Necas and Bear with no picks. Meh but you may have to consider it at this point.

LOL these values are all completely different. In what world is that Isles’ “offer” even remotely comparable to the Canes’ one?
