We will do that at the end of this round after I've autoed for Dallas, NJ, ANA

Exactly what I was thinking.

Also, I added another partial column that shows how many remaining picks each team has. Should make it easy to then fill in the rest of each team.

Also I'm a bit confused - will there be another round after the Seattle expansion draft for us to replace the position that we lost? Or are we simply rolling with 22 man rosters (if so, why does Seattle get 23?).

I believe we get one more pick after the expansion draft to get back to a 23 man roster. So you can pick up a player with a high enough cap hit.

Interesting.

Do I have to comply by the cap floor with my next 2 picks or can I make up that cash regardless?

We're drafting 23 to be compliant with the cap. As long as you're compliant before the expansion draft you're good. If you make a trade you need to stay within the max though. I didn't plan on adding another round to make it 23 man roster, that's why we're saying Seattle has to be compliant on a 23 man roster to make it fair.

But then we'll have 22 man rosters vs. Seattle's 23.

Unless we're just comparing 12F-6D-1G, in which case the last 3 rounds are borderline useless.

All GMs with missed picks (except for DAL, NJD, and ANA) have been PM'd.

Looks like 9 was the perfect number for expansion lists.. I added a new sheet to the google doc to make it easier to look at available players. Seattle's team will be good enough to get votes, but I wouldn't expect it to be unfair.

We will get to the expansion part by the weekend.

I changed my protected lists and my roster should mirror the rosters I set out in my roster list.

My list should swap Brannstrom for Green as per the protected thread.

You need to take a forward with a cap hit of at least 6,146,803 to be cap compliant or switch both Suzuki and Sturm.
Nico Sturm’s cap hit was $4,273,500 by my math I’m over 60M. What do you have as my cap hit?

Here is my tracker using excel:

NumberForwardsCap Hit
1Connor McDavid12,500,000
2William Nylander$10,277,778
3Andreas Athanasiou$3,000,000
4Andrei Svechnikov$925,000
5Jesperi Kotkaniemi$925,000
6Paul Byron$1,166,667
7Jesse Puljujarvi$925,000

9Martin Necas$863,333
10Kristian Vesalainen$925,000

I think the issue is Nylander. In 18-19 his cap hit was $10,277,778...in 19-20 it goes to $6,962,366 and that's what you have it listed as.

Hey guys, Seattle is open for business. One thing to keep in mind what offering trades is what the other teams have exposed. If you are making me an offer, please make sure the guy you offer is better than what I can draft from the other team.

:vegas has 4 picks remaining

:nashville has 2 picks remaining

Then the draft is done. I've PM'd both of these GMs.

Meh I did a Seattle mock on my own and its not that good. I think 8 wouldve been better.

Some scrub teams have no lists but I guess they wont add much value.
