Ohh... I thought this would be about people who were famous for being Canucks fans.

It reminded me of the guy who would occasionally get featured on BCTV (or CBC) back in the 80's and early 90's as the Canucks' Biggest Superfan. The guy was IIRC, a bit "special", and his family were season ticket holders from year one. He lived in their basement surrounded by memorabilia and had either been to, watched or listened to every single game in franchise history (up to that point).

And what's really sad is that according to this article, written during the 2011 finals, he stopped being a fan of the team during the Keenan era and never came back.

I can verify Sam Bradford...
It was Don Cherry who got him into hockey...
Ironically.

After the 94 season...
Bradford got a copy of Don Cherry's Rock'em Sock'em Hockey.
Since the Canucks made it all the way to the finals...
They were featured prominently in that one...
And he was hooked.
His favorite player is Bure...

After he is drafted by the Rams...
He said that he will cheer for the Blues from then on...
But I am pretty sure he still likes the Canucks.

Funny that he survived the 15 year losing streak, but couldn't make it through a couple of Keenan years. The Keenan years were pretty deplorable, though.

and Cobie Smulders was born and raised in Vancouver and she is a Canucks fan. She even explicitly said that she's happy that the Canucks are getting more and more air time on Season 8 of HIMYM before it actually aired
