The Florida Panthers are very happy to welcome Sean Couturier to their organization. He brings great size and solid two-way ability and we expect him to compete for a roster spot this fall.

The Calgary Flames organization is happy to welcome First round selections, #7 Ryan Murphy and #11 Joel Armia to our Club!

Murphy may not be the biggest kid on the Blue-line, but he can really put up the points, with 79 for Kitchener this year in just 63 games. He took home Player of the game at the 2011 Top Prospects Game and performed well for Canada at the U18 Championship.

Armia is a big kid at 6'3", and has proven to play well against pro's in the Swedish Elite League. The Finn also had a big 13 points in 6 games at the U18 Championships for Finland.

Are ecstatic selecting Jonathan Huberdeau. At the point that the top 4 were taken we knew this was our guy and we are proud having him.

Huberdeau is a welcomed piece to this organization and we hope he can produce in due time

We would also like to roll out a warm welcome to Mark Scheifele and welcome him with open arms to the franchise.

I'm extremely pleased to get Connor Murphy and Victor Rask (although I absolutely hate Edmonton for taking Klefbom :p:).
With the Schneider trade, we believe we have greatly improved our prospect pool.

Cody Hodgson
Connor Murphy
Jordan Schroeder
Victor Rask
Alex Plante
Anton Rodin
Ryan Martindale
Eddie Lack
Joe Morrow
Sergei Shirokov
etc...

The Nashville Predators organization are extremely happy to announce the re-signing of two major parts of Nashville's team. The first being Shea Weber. Weber signed a seven year deal with the Predators paying him $45,000,000 throughout the contract. The terms are as follows.

$8,000,000 - 1st Year
$7,500,000 - 2nd Year
$7,500,000 - 3rd Year
$7,000,000 - 4th Year
$6,000,000 - 5th Year
$5,500,000 - 6th Year
$5,500,000 - 7th Year

Another depth signing including Joel Ward, who was oustanding for the Predators during their shortened playoff run, leading the team in points and goals. He signed a 3 year deal with the Preds, paying him $2,500,000 per season.

At the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, the Predators picked up Tomas Jurco, from the QMJHL champion Saint John Sea Dogs, as well as Nick Shore from the US National Development Program. We are extremely happy with both of our selections and are looking forward to seeing them in Predators uniforms in the up and coming future.

We are still looking to make trades, so keep on sending me your offers.

Tuukka Rask and Brad Marchand available for a top 6 RW, preferably a goal scorer that can put up 30ish+ goals.

Marchand and Boston are having trouble reaching an agreement on a contract.

Palmieri and Merrill are decent prospects. Parise would be a star attraction in LA. Maybe they didn't need to give up Clifford, but it doesn't seem too terribly bad for the Kings.

Still, Schenn, Johnson, AND Bernier. Merril isnt goo enough when we already have Voynov, Hickey, Forbort, Deslauries, etc. Palmieri is nice. Still horrid

:edmonton Makes major Acquisitions

The Oilers are thrilled to select Ryan Nugent Hopkins of the Red Deer Rebels. The Oilers were lacking a long-term #1 centre, and we believe we have no found our guy. Along with Hall, MSP, Eberle, Hemsky, Omark, Horcoff, and our new, and long anticipated, winger Thomas Vanek, we believe we have the foundation for a very dynamic offense.

To Edmonton:
Thomas Vanek

To Buffalo
Sam Gagner
Landislav Smid
19th overall (Oscar Klefbom)

Our lines will now be as follows.

Vanek-Horcoff-Hemsky
Hall-RNH-Eberle
MSP-____-Omark
Reddox-Brule-Jones

The Florida Panthers are pleased to announce they have signed their top draft picks from the 2010 and 2011 NHL entry drafts, Erik Gudbranson and Sean Couturier. Both signed 3 year entry level contracts with base salaries of $900,000 and bonuses that could pay up to $3,400,000. We expect both to compete for roster spots this fall.

Nicklas Bergfors, Michal Repik and Steve Bernier are all available.
