    READ THE RULES.

    And make sure you have your roster & cap info posted in the roster thread!

    [fieldset=""]Commissioners
    [/fieldset]
    [fieldset=""]
    Game Schedule

    • Trading/Re-signing Starts: Monday 5/16 7:00 PM
    • Entry Draft: Wednesday 5/18 7:00 PM
    • Free Agency Begins: Friday 5/20 12:00 AM
    • Free Agents Can Sign: Friday 5/20 12:00 PM
      *All times EST, and subject to change
    [/fieldset]
    [fieldset=""]
    Salary Cap

    • Teams may have a payroll of no higher than $68.42M at any point during the game.
    • Teams may have a payroll of no higher than $62.2M by the end of the game.
    • There will be no bonus cushion for the 2011-2012 season.
    • Using capgeek for all numbers is mandatory.
    [/fieldset]

    [fieldset=""]Waivers/Buyouts
    • Post in this thread if you'd like to place a player on waivers.
    • Each team has the option of sending down only 1 player with a 1-way contract to the minors (or Europe) due to cap reasons and only 1 buyout will be allowed per team.
    • The lowest team in the standings in real life gets highest waiver wire priority.
    [/fieldset]

    [fieldset=""]Trades
    • All trades must be sent to IslesRock4 and RR or else they are not valid.
    • Once a trade is agreed upon, send it in BEFORE POSTING, and then you can announce it in the thread. A deal without a NTC or NMC does not have to be approved.
    • If a trade is announced prior to it being sent in, it will be vetoed.
    • ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. Washington will not trade Ovechkin, Pittsburgh will not trade Crosby, etc. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
    • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player to waive. The trade must be approved by BOTH trade managers prior to posting. Keep in mind it will only be on a rare occasion that a NTC or NMC is waived.
    • If a trade involving a NTC or NMC is announced before approval, it will be vetoed.
    • If a team does not have enough cap space to complete a trade that has been sent in, the trade will be vetoed.
    [/fieldset]

    [fieldset=""]Agents
    • matt trick will be the re-signing agent for Eastern Conference RFAs.
    • CaptPantalones will be the re-signing agent for Western Conference RFAs.
    • RR will be the re-signing agent for UFAs.

    Note: Once we agree on term and cap hit, I need you to send me all your signings in this format, so they can be added to the first page. Initial pms need not be in table format, as I will need information like ice time, line placement, usage on PP and PK, ect.

    1st order of business- removal of Drury.

    How so? Willing to swap him with another terrible contract. He will agree to the trade when the receiving GM agrees to waive him/buy him out. And we will do likewise.

    So Drury will then become a UFA.

    If you want to swap a terrible contract for another terrible contract then PM me.

    :wild looking to CONTEND. We feel like we have the talent to be a playoff team if we can add a few pieces

    Any player but Backstrom and Koivu are availible. Havlat and Burns are only tradeable if we can upgrade, or overpay. Anyone else can be had

    Anyone and Everyone is available. Mainly looking to take our cap hit down.

    Looking to move up from 13th Overall.

    Jarome Iginla, Robyn Regehr, and Miikka Kipprasoff are going to be the toughest to get.

    Our main need will be a potential or established number one centre.

    Hagman, Kotalik and Jokinen can be moved for next to nothing.

    Looking to improve forward depth up front, ideally by getting a top line center. Lots of cap space so willing to take on not so ideal contract as long as it makes sense and ideally if the contract was frontloaded(cap hit higher than actual remaining salary).

    Only untouchables are Dmitri Kulikov, Jacob Markstrom and the 3rd overall pick although we aren't looking to move David Booth and Stephen Weiss.

    Looking to deal STL's 1st (11th), Quincey, Mueller, Yip, and a few other pieces to get a top line winger. Will listen to ANY offers, however.

    Just looking to acquire picks or prospects. We are rebuilding for the future.

    The Ottawa Senators hope to have a new younger look by the end of Free Agency.

    WE WILL NOT MOVE ANY PROSPECTS

    Bryzgalov negotiations are...tricky...at the moment...so Phoenix may need to look at the goalie trade market, and the goal UFA market may get a whole heck of a lot better. We may have his rights for sale soon. We shall see...

    EDIT:

    Deal Done! <---Though not quite the hometown discount I was hoping for ;)

    Bryzgalov - 5yrs, 30m, 6avg
    1.5.0m
    2.6.5m
    3.7.0m
    4.6.5m
    5.5.0m

    Vrbata - 2yrs, 6m, 3avg
    1. 3m
    2. 3m

    Fiddler - 2yrs, 2.5m, 1.25avg
    1. 1.25m
    2. 1.25m
