READ THE RULES.

And make sure you have your roster & cap info posted in the roster thread!

[fieldset=""]Commissioners
[/fieldset]
[fieldset=""]
Game Schedule

  • Entry Draft: TBA
  • Free Agency Begins: TBA
    *All times ET, and subject to change.
[/fieldset]
[fieldset=""]
Salary Cap

  • The salary cap maximum for the 2014-2015 season will be $71.1M.
  • Teams may exceed the cap maximum by 10% during the offseason.
  • Teams must comply with the salary cap by the end of the game.
  • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game.
  • Teams may sign their draft picks to contracts using the ENTRY LEVEL CONTRACT CHART
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Waivers/Buyouts
  • Post in this thread if you’d like to place a player on waivers.
  • Each team has the option of sending ONE player on a 1-way contract to the minors or Europe due to cap reasons.
  • Burying a player in the minors or Europe only eliminates a maximum of $900k of their cap hit.
  • A player will be on waivers for 24 hours.
  • Waiver priority will be based on the 2013-2014 NHL standings.
  • If a team claims a player off of waivers, they then have the lowest waiver priority.
  • Compliance buyouts are permitted prior to the Free Agency period. Real life buyouts count to the 2 buyout total.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Trades
  • All trades must be sent to IslesRock4 and AnalogMan or else they are not valid.
  • Once a trade is agreed upon, send it in BEFORE POSTING, and then you can announce it in the thread. A deal without a NTC or NMC does not have to be approved.
  • If a trade is announced prior to it being sent in, it will be vetoed.
  • ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
  • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player to waive. The trade must be approved by BOTH trade managers prior to posting. Keep in mind it will only be on a rare occasion that a NTC or NMC is waived.
  • If a trade involving a NTC or NMC is announced before approval, it will be vetoed.
  • If a team does not have enough cap space to complete a trade that has been sent in, the trade will be vetoed.
  • Vetoed deals will require a significant re-work in order for them to be accepted.
  • If a player waives his NTC or NMC, the NTC or NMC is still valid with their new team.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Agents
  • Soli will be the agent for East RFAs.
  • Joel Ward will be the agent for West RFAs.
  • OfWolfAndMan will be the in-season agent for UFAs.

Talks for Ryan Kesler are heating up with 6 teams now having made very serious offers. Going rate is a 1st round pick, young roster player(25 and under) and a prospect. Would prefer a deal involving a more established roster player in which case the other assets may not be neccessary.

Alex Edler, Kevin Bieksa and Chris Tanev have all received interest as well with a number of teams making offers for different players.

Jannik Hansen/Chris Higgins could also be dealt for any teams looking solid middle 6 options with good cap hits.

Eddie Lack/Jacob Markstrom are being shopped around for the best offer I can get.

The rebuild continues in Calgary, so we're looking to add young, NHL-ready talent at all positions and/or picks.

Monahan, Gaudreau and Brodie are not available. Everyone else (Wideman, Smid, Stajan, Glencross, Hudler, Cammalleri's UFA rights, Jones, etc.) can be moved in the right deal.

We place Ryan Malone on waivers with the intention of using our 2nd compliance buyout on him.

Looking to acquire two top defensemen (prefer RH) and possibly a top 6 RW. We have a lot of quality pieces available, so I'm looking for the best players I can find.

Killorn, Kucherov, Namestnikov, Erne, Purcell, Connolly, Panik, Koekkoek, Sustr, Aulie, Barberio, Lindback...other picks and prospects all available. Only moving Drouin if I get an absolutely elite player back.

Also looking to move Eric Brewer. 1 year left at $3.875M. Limited NTC. Will only cost a pick or prospect.

Barkov, Gudbrandson, Bjugstad, Huberdeau are off the table.

Kulikov is expensive.

The 1st overall is in play - looking to move down, and gather assets that can help now.

Rene Bourque - Team looking to add scoring depth for the playoffs, he's pretty good there. Might not always help during the season so if you're gonna battle for a playoff spot, he might not be the best fit on your top 2 line. Top contender who struggled in recent playoffs to score goals might want to look into it.

Travis Moen - Good 4th line veteran grinder but we don't have a regular spot open for him anymore.

Brandon Prust - Will cost more than Moen but willing to listen to offers.

Peter Budaj or Dustin Tokarski - Would prefer to trade one of them since they both deserves to play in the NHL. Budaj is a great teammate and solid back up, Toks might have good potential.

Price, Subban and Galchenyuk are the only untouchable but I'm unlikely to do much in the trade area, planning to stay the course and be patient with the team. That being said, feel free to make offers (Plekanec, Emelin, Desharnais, Eller, Gorges).

Looking to build around the great young core that is in place here. Johansen, Murray and Bobrovsky are untouchable and other guys like Dubinsky, Johnson and Jenner are very unlikely to move.

We are looking for 2 top 6 wingers (one of each side) and a top 4RHD or good RHD prospect. Would also be interested in getting a good backup and some character 4th liners.

Tyutin, Umberger and Calvert are available off the roster and all prospects (except Wennberg and Dansk) are available.

The 16th and 47th overall picks are available either to move up or to fill a need.

All other players except Giroux, Voracek and Simmonds
Due to NMC, Hartnell and Lecavalier are unlikely to be moved

We are looking to surround Giroux, Voracek and Simmonds. Not looking for players past their prime.

At this point, we are looking to trade Couturier and B. Schenn for a young top 6 LW and a top pairing defenseman (will add).

Derek Stepan (along with prospects/picks to even things out) is available for an upgrade. Rick Nash is also available as well. He has a NMC, so he'll likely only waive for a contender.

Don't ask about Kreider, Brassard, McDonagh, Girardi, Staal and Lundqvist.

Not really interested in moving Hagelin or Zuccarello either, but would consider it for the right deal.

We've decided to start shopping Brad Richards as well. Looking for a lesser calibre centre primarily, but would consider a winger or defenseman if we like the player.

Picks/prospects can be added on each side to even things out. Would be able to retain salary in the right deal.

Not a fan of this current core in Winnipeg. Time to shuffle the deck a bit. Looking to revamp our core, get younger, and see what happens from there.

Basically the only guy I'm dead set on not moving is Jacob Trouba. Evander Kane will be a tough sell but could be moved as well as anyone else!

:sabres place sniper Ville Leino on waivers

Stewart, Stafford, Mitchell, Enroth/Hackett, Weber, McBain, Knapp on the block

We also looking to discuss Erhoff/Myers and maybe a couple prospects we have a surplus in, but don't mind holding on.

Willing to discuss moving up or down (we have 2, 31, 39 and 49), if we move #2 we'd like to stay in Top 5 unless it's a really good offer.

NEEDS/WANTS: Top-end prospects (1st line F/1st pair D caliber), another 2014 1st (about mid-round), 2015 1st, young NHLers that can grow with the team

Not entirely sure what we are going to be doing, however, early on we are leaning towards trying to win now.

If we are trying to win now, we are looking for a top four defenseman (preferably top pairing), a top six forward. Only untouchables would be Kessel, Bozak, JVR, Bernier and Rielly.

If we are re-tooling, everyone is available for the right price, except for Rielly and Bernier. Looking for youth.

PM!

We're looking to move Mike Green in a deal involving a similarly aged top 6 forward or a young forward with potential.

Marcus Johansson is available either for a swap for a young defensive minded defensman or in a package for a serious upgrade on offense

We're willing to move all prospects(Burakovsky, Barber, Bowey, etc) along with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Tom Wilson in packages for upgrades. The 13th overall pick is also very much available along with all of our other picks(2014 and 2015). Our only untouchables are Backstrom, Ovechkin, Carlson and Alzner. Everyone else can be moved for the right price.

If any team is also moving a good starting goaltender we would have interest, though we are content waiting until free agency.

If the right players are coming to us in a trade, we'll consider adding goaltender John Gibson in a trade. But it needs to be some serious value coming to the Ducks.

As previously stated, the 1st pick overall is in play.

Sooner you inquire, the better your chance. No guarantee we will move it, but we aren't averse to it.

We have some potential trades lined up that would put us in a win now position, and would take players like Phaneuf and Kessel off the block. If you are interested in those two send some offers!

Reimer and Franson are being shopped, but we're not just giving them away.
