News Bulletin: Sens Acquire Perron from Blues

General Manager KTSF19 announced today that the club has acquired forward David Perron and a 2011 5th round draft pick from the St. Louis Blues. Going to St. Louis are forwards Peter Regin and Nick Foligno, along with Nashville's 1st round pick.

"We payed a high price but we received a very good hockey player in David. He has plenty of skill and gives us another top-six forward. We look forward to him joining our team next season."

Okay, here's the deal, The Edmonton Oilers are looking to trade away their older guys for some youth.

Trade Block includes players such as Ales Hemsky (who by the way is getting plenty of interest), Shawn Horcoff, Andrew Cogliano, Ladislav Smid, Gilbert Brule, Tom Gilbert, Kurtis Foster and Nikolai Khabibulin.

Were not planning on trading any of the young guns (Hall, Eberle, Pajaarvi, Gagner, Peckham, Petry, Dubnyk, you know what I mean), as well, THE #1 PICK IS NOT IN PLAY.

We are looking for young players with potential, as well as a franchise defenseman. Get your offers in!

Dallas Stars Add Another Forward with Stanley Cup Experience

To Dallas: Troy Brouwer

To Chicago: Mark Fistric

General Manager Joe Nieuwendyk wants Dallas to be a tough team to play against, and Troy Brouwer will add that to this team. He'll likely play with Loui Eriksson and Jamie Benn, and he'll definitely see time on both the PP and PK. With Jamie Langebrunner's departure, Brouwer has an opportunity to not only take some of his minutes, he'll be counted on to provide some leadership to a young team with limited playoff experience.

Losing Mark Fistric isn't easy. He's a solid young defender with a nasty disposition. It won't be fun playing him 4 times a year against Chicago, but we feel his role can be filled via free agency. We wouldn't have been able to sign a guy like Brouwer this off season.

I confirm

I still like Fistric's potential and view him as a good #6 defender for Hawks.

He will have much better coaching in Chicago IMO then what he has gotten last 2 years in Dallas which has stunted his development

Dallas confirms, and that's why Marc Crawford is unemployed. Even the players questioned why Mark Fistric was in the pressbox and Jeff Woywitka was on the ice.

Heard that song for the first time today. I can relate, but considering I hate all music that is currently popular with high/middle schoolers, meh.

Actually Bruno isn't that popular with the teenage population as much as people in there mid 20's most of his songs are about love which most teenagers couldn't relate to.

'Twas on Z100.

I ****ing despise that radio station and everything they stand for. Any song they play on it will go directly to my black list of music.
