He’s a top 10 type talent in a draft with 20 of those. I have him around 15.

Similar level prospect but Heidts a little more physical and a shooter while Krebs is the better playmaker. Heidt is also thicker but both 200ft pests defensively. Krebs would've been a top 10 guy without his fluke injury

I was also a fan of Heidt's play at the Hlinka. Skating and skill popped more than I was expecting. Definitely see what people here say when they suggest he's top 10-15.

I’m not sure if I necessarily see him as a super high upside skill player, but he can skate and he plays the game the right way. I love this guy too.

It sucks being in the Eastern Time Zone. I’ve been up so late watching these guys. Bedard, Yager, Benson, Danielson, Cristall, Ziemmer, Heidt, Dragicevic, and Price could all be in the 1st round.

That’s 25% of the first round could potentially be WHL players.

He is one of my favourite guys in this draft. Last year I liked Östlund very early on. This year Heidt is kinda taking that spot from me along with maybe Oliver Moore. Good playdriving skill-forward who can play center as well if needed. Has good hands, good shot. Strong compete. Defensive game is not his strength but he at least tries to do something.

He and Koehn Ziemmer both work really great on their line. I recommend to watch them both from Cougars if you end up watching their games.

Something good for Cougars will always happen when their line is on the ice.
