That was an ECHL quality roster he was playing against.

He's also an 18 year old.

....and 5 of the Blues prospects this year were AHL players last year--Kostin, Reinke, Poganski, Stevens and Kaspick. Add in Alexandrov and Ellis their two highest draft picks this year.

It might be pointed out as well that without Fox, Kravtsov or Kakko--the only forward draft pick the Rangers had in the game was Henriksson--Elmer and Newell are free agent signings and the rest are either either AHL signings--Jones, Dmowski, Zerter-Gossage, McBride (don't be surprised if all these guys spend the bulk of their season in the ECHL) and invites. So the Rangers were as much--maybe even mores so an ECHL level roster than the Blues.

He isn't exactly lighting SuperElit on fire right now, give him time.

I'm not expecting him to break into the Frolunda lineup this season, but a player over 1PPG two seasons in a row should be in pro hockey. He should've been in pro hockey this season, but he's at one of the 2-3 SHL teams where he wouldn't be in the lineup this season.

21 points in 13 J20 games. Time for this kid to play in the SHL.

1 point in 6 games. Seems to be struggling. Is anyone watching?

I'm a little skeptical of how his game will transfer to professional hockey. Undersized and not a great skater is a combination that can often see a player struggle once they transition from junior hockey to pro hockey.

Been highly impressed by Henriksson this season. Looks like he'll turn into one of those super strong small puck possession guys. He's a puck winning machine along the boards and also protects the puck and creates offense very well. His line is often parked in the offensive zone for long shifts. Henriksson is a real driver on that line, his linemates are solid but they lack scoring touch.
