Most of speedsters lose their speed with age and injuries like Gaborik and Bure.

Are there any who didn't? Jason Chimera is the only one who comes to mind.

Niedermayer's skating almost seemed to get better as he got older. He was a true treat to watch.

Selanne's skating eventually left him, but not until he was well past regular NHL retirement age.

Joe Sakic was still a great skater at the end of his career.

Cullen, as others have said, remains a great skater (as does Marleau).

Giordano is getting up there and is still a great skater... Keith, who is the same age, has fallen off more than Gio has in that respect.

Most of them have been mentioned, but Bourque, Housley and Leetch remained smooth and fast until they retired, if I remember correctly.

Geoff Sanderson is the only unmentioned forward I could think of.

More recently, Dan Boyle and Brian Campbell could still fly in their last years. Duncan Keith is holding up well so far.

Marchant could skate very well until he was in his mid 30s. Teemu until about 40 was also incredibly fast although nowhere near as quick as in his 20s
