I had thought Duncan graduated from college and signed a tryout contract to attend the St. Louis Blues pro tryout camp in July (which he did indeed attend). Perhaps he was simply invited as a guest of some sort, while still retaining his college eligibility? I'll do some checking to confirm, otherwise, if he is returning to North Dakota, obviously he will be removed from my roster.

Extremely strange. It sounds like its close to being official, but I'm going to leave him on Edmonton's prospect list until training camp starts. His father is still talking like there's a chance he'll report, but I doubt it. Wonder whats going on behind the scenes.

Summer college UFA signing David MacDonald has retired. A Harvard economics graduate, he decided he liked his odds of making his first million in business more than hockey I guess. Interesting since he signed a contract and played in the AHL at the end of last year. Perhaps the strangest roster player I've ever had retire on me.
