Union SG win 1-0 against Fenerbahce in Turkey. Last week they were down 1-0 at home and then conceded two dumb, late goals. Shame really because they definitely weren't the inferior side. Just way less experienced.

Big result for PAOK too as they beat Dinamo Zagreb 5-1 to advance as well. Don't know how surprising it is because I'm not sure how good Dinamo are this season.

Then and there
I'm watching Rangers-Benfica which is nice and tight. Benfica are one goal up but Rangers are a great home team this year, never lost two in a row, and only Celtic kept a clean sheet there this year.

Watching live I though Benfica scorer Rafa was clearly offside, and linesman flaggeg him also. But replay showed it was perfectly timed run, kept his back foot just about on the line at the time of the header to avoid offside.

Even he wasn't confident he was onside, he stopped celebrating as soon as he saw the flag up haha

And OM finally scored in ET to win the tie. Desastrous showing for them after a very very nice spell under their new coach.
Overconfidence is most likely.

Brighton with a bright start. We need to find a goal soon to get the miracle in motion though.

Yeah, they probably went into the match with the wrong attitude. At least Villarreal made the match interesting for the home supporters inside the stadium until the final 1-2 minutes.

Gasset has done surprisingly well with Marseille after that Ivory Coast fiasco in the finals.

It's really back to PSG Gasset, which is surprising since he failed everywhere without Blanc.

Had some hope after they managed to draw Bayern couple weeks ago but, woof, "big game" Freiburg popped back up again. And it always seems to be 5 f***ing goals when it happens.

Well he kept limping about for 20 more minutes, scored a great goal, but now he's asked to be subbed out.
Yikes, look like Sporting had to give Pote the hook right after he scored too
