Wasn't even close to level lolLooks level. These should count always
What part of his body was offside?Wasn't even close to level lol
His head was clearly ahead of the defender. What part of his body was offside?
And shoulder, basically the whole upper body lolHis head was clearly ahead of the defender.
Like chest on up.What part of his body was offside?
Went back to the goal the defenders hand is extend…only part of VVD’s body that’s slightly ahead is his fingers. And shoulder, basically the whole upper body lol

Pretty sure they call attackers hands as well.Hand doesn't count though....
This really explains a lotWent back to the goal the defenders hand is extend…only part of VVD’s body that’s slightly ahead is his fingers.
Only part that's supposed to count is a part you can score/legally play the ball with, so would be shoulder/upper arm (sponsor patch under PL interpretation)Pretty sure they call attackers hands as well.
like said I’m certain they measure the hands as well.Only part that's supposed to count is a part you can score/legally play the ball with, so would be shoulder/upper arm (sponsor patch under PL interpretation)
So the defenders outstretched arm does pull him back a bit, but VVD's head was still clearly past that.
like said I’m certain they measure the hands as well.
The hands and arms of all players, including the goalkeepers, are not considered. For the purposes of determining offside, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit.
Leeds goal differential has certainly taken a hit the past week
Inverse UtdLiverpool's GD also makes me chuckle. At a very solid +19 this year with 55 goals scored. They are +20 with 21 goals scored in the three blowouts they had. So 3 of their 30 games have resulted in nearly 40% of their goals scored.
Well I'm certain they don't.like said I’m certain they measure the hands as well.
Pretty sure the sleeve thing is only for handballs, not offsides (properly pluralized!)Only part that's supposed to count is a part you can score/legally play the ball with, so would be shoulder/upper arm (sponsor patch under PL interpretation)
So the defenders outstretched arm does pull him back a bit, but VVD's head was still clearly past that.
The wording in both rules is the same (bottom of the armpit). I’m just assuming the PL has used the same interpretation of where that is for both rules, although I don’t know that for sure.Pretty sure the sleeve thing is only for handballs, not offsides (properly pluralized!)
