Ladies and gentlemen, it's North London Derby season, as Arsenal travels cross-town to take on rivals Tottenham. Both sides are missing some key players, but it should be a fun match. It is not the only London derby, as Fulham hosts Chelsea in a MW 7 makeup game and Chelsea then hosts Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, we also get a Manchester derby with a resurgent United team hosting City. Brighton also hosts Liverpool in a battle among teams trying to make it into Europe, while Newcastle hosts upstarts Fulham. We also get a couple relegation matches against teams that have recently been upper mid-table, as Wolves host West Ham and Southampton travels to Everton. All in all, a fantastic week of matches.

Firmino is still out and Darwin Nunez wasn’t in training today. Salah and the newly arrived Cody Gakpo only healthy forwards for LFC. Probably Chamberlain up front too. Brighton going to stomp em out

Anyone else want to believe in my 1% universe where Havertz and Felix are some god tier duo that works in some weird way

We’re gonna find out because they’re playing together this afternoon
I have 0 confidence.

Even if it works out, the foresight was bad. Really hope it does given Mount’s horrid form, Sterling/Pulisic injuries.

Opportunity cost - that is an expensive six months for a very non-obvious fit.

If sterling is out more than six weeks, they should recall Hudson Odoi. He will literally play every single match.

Been thinking of going to London for 2 nights in Feb before I go to Iceland for a week in Feb. See Chelsea Southampton.

Also considered going to Chelsea Spurs a week later but figure it would be far more difficult getting a ticket away in a Chelsea section.

Interested to see how United stack up, but I'm still going City in this one. Especially after the loss to Southampton. I do like the direction United is heading.

Understand the injuries but Potter’s a madman

Azpi as a wb in a back 5 with kovacic zakaria midfield. Then the three guys who play in the same positions trying to feed the goal scorer that doesnt exist

Are we scoring

Really curious what this season would have looked like if LFC got Zakaria and Chelsea got Arthur this summer

7-1 final if you ask me.
Wouldn’t shock me, although y’all are better in the road. But LFC don’t have any way to stop your midfield runners unless they can buy (at least) one; but that’s not going to help them this weekend

A team struggling to score in Chelsea against one of the best goalie in the PL this league in Leno, should be interesting.

Also Joao Felix, although he might be good one day if he gets it all together, is also physically weak and as lazy defensively as Pulisic, it would be really weird to see him doing well for Chelsea.
