Well, we're back. Arsenal seeks to continue its title chase in a London derby, while City visits Major Leeds Soccer. Another London derby starts the week, and we get a third at Palace. Meanwhile, the south coast battles it out.

It’ll be interesting to see how fit these teams are. All of the big teams had key players at the WC so it will be interesting to see how they come back.

Every match is top 10 vs bottom 10 except for Spurs who have to go to Brentford without Lloris, Richarlison, Betancur and Romero and Perisic may rest as well.

The much more interesting question is what’s up with Toney? Is he allowed to play? Is his (possible) suspension still under review? That story sided down a bit during the World Cup but sounds like the charges are sticking

He gets to start against Spurs today.

Bullshit, hope he gets a straight red early in the match

It seems like the way PL rules are written, the league/FA has much less ability to suspend players prior to being formally found guilty of something. Especially compared to North American leagues where the commissioner has pretty broad authority to just suspend someone indefinitely during an investigation.

Obviously teams could still do whatever they want, but if the team isn’t gonna act on it, I’m not sure how much more the PL/FA can do.

I mean compared to what Partey's facing, why even suspend Toney. If Arsenal doesn't care about those allegations, neither should Brentford. Hats off for United, the only team who actually did something (and fck West Ham too while we're at it, I'd have never played that dumb asshole Zouma again)

Newcastle up already 3 minutes in.

Beautifully goal by Almiron for 2-0. He has been transformed this season.
