I know it will never happen but since we have rules for how the game is played why not rules for implementing the rules?

Limit VAR reviews to say, 2 minutes. It’s supposed to be for “clear and obvious” errors right? Well, if you can’t identify the error by staring at video for 2 minutes then clearly and obviously it’s not clear and obvious. I would vote for one minute myself.

To me, VAR should be used only :
1/ if the ref needs it and is unsure of a decision (limited to penalty shouts, offside goals, red card offenses)
2/ if a coach challenges a call. If he's wrong though, he loses a subsitution.

Refs reffing from the sideline for "obvious errors" is just trash. Central ref feels obliged to agree even if he doesn't.
