Varane played 90 vs Copenhage, after his injury and probably in general, there's no sense in expecting him to play two 90 minutes in a week. Reguilon has issues defensively against Copenhagen already and he's also just returned from injury so that's two thing speaking against him starting the game.
ten Hag said both were tactical and not fitness related.

Oh man that was so bad. The ease with which City moved the ball to midfield and then passed it around midfield and dinked an easy pass out wide......that Man Utd midfield has been a disgrace all season.

And it got even easier for City when he inexplicably replaced Amrabat with Mount. He has to surely be done, his central midfield always looks awful and they're in danger of not even getting a Europa spot this season.

In terms of defensive ability, he could be better than Walker, but agree he's definitely lacklustre when you consider his overall game. Really underrated player though, and maybe needs to be converted to CB.
He and Zinchenko should combine to create a super Ukrainian LB

Moving much too slow.

They got smoked 5-0 by City last year as well, or was it the year before... City have United's number and make them look silly.
Pep's feelings are hurt because when Julia Roberts visits Manchester she goes to see United and not City. So he takes it out on the pitch.

Just watching back the highlights from Arsenal - Sheffield, there's a corner at 12:30 where at least three players are being held/dragged down much more blatantly than what happened to Rodri. Just thought it was funny...
