If offered a loss and a healthy Origi I would have taken it over a win and injured Origi.

But, we don't live in pretend land so please score lots of goals.

News trickling out that Origi's ankle is badly sprained but not broken. Wonder if he'll be able to be back before the end of the season.

I have been thru that multiple times. If not broken and severely sprained we are talking about 2 months (sometimes less) without any physical activity and 2 weeks of exercises to strengthen the ankle before being fit.

Terrible tackle.

Also not great to see Liverpool come off a performance like that before Newcastle on the weekend. Hopefully it's followed by a mediocre showing...

We're really clicking lately and Sturridge is gaining confidence. I love it. Gutted for Origi though.

I think most of the players who started today will be rested against Newcastle to be 100% ready against Villareal.

Yep. Newcastle will get a dose of Jordon Ibe, John Flanagan, Kevin Stewart, Brad Smith, Danny Ward, and Sheyi Ojo.
