Eminem is proof that being able to rhyme words together doesn’t make you a good lyricist.

Eminem is a ridiculous lyricist. One of the best in hip-hop. His issues nowadays are subject matter, delivery, and his hooks are usually bleh. He's become a bit redundant as well.

But his lyrical game is still top-notch. Darkness, for example, is an amazing song lyrically.

Yeah denying he's a great lyricist is non-sensical. I understand the criticisms about putting together a good piece of music. Although this new album did a great job of it, as I think he's figuring out how to evolve in the modern era and is utilizing his features properly. This is a very, very good album for a 47-year-old.
