Pettersson looks like he could be a future Art Ross winner and is already an amazing talent.

However first we have to see him actually play in a #1C role without heavily sheltered minutes before we compare him to guys like McDavid, Matthews etc.

Threads like these should be locked. They contribute nothing because there isn’t a chance they move him. Up and coming young star. Vancouver is a great city and there’s been no rumors he doesn’t want to be there.

I know I know, you don’t need to reply in the thread. But I sometimes feel threads like this are for the fans to feel good about themselves and their player.

Players of his calibre do get moved, but not until they're at least 24 or so.
