Sweden dominated the game, this russian team is quite unimpressive, but Michkov made the day with his play.

Our kids still could score more and looked decent overall given the fact that their average age was about 21. It's just Finns and Swedes have much better teams, than last year.

Finn's up 3-0... the third goal (which was gorgeous) was off a Masin blunder and past Svoboda. 5 years ago, those were 2 of my fav prospects.

Totally Finn domination and, again, I like the look of the Czech team. I know the Finn's were very strong but I didn't think we sent a bad team. Good job on the Finns.

We got back to 3-2 but the Finns scored and Czechs really didn't get many chances after that. Happy for Blumel!

Hope this dismisses the notion that we need a lot of Euro's on the Olympic team. Finn's were better and I'm pretty sure not many of them are going to the Olympics.

Our kids are destroying Czech. Khusnutdinov with 2 assists, Chibrikov with 2 assists, Michkov with 1 assist. Voronkov with 2 goals.
The newspaper quote from our coach was 'I guess our Extraliga professionals are not good enough for the Russian Jr's'.lol

Sweden won all games. Thats not happend for years. Henrik Tömmernäs is a monster. But i think the team at Channel One Cup will be totally different. More KHLers.
